What is your name, age and where are you from?
My name is Busani Mbuso Sibisi. I am 19 years old and from Inanda.
What are you doing currently?
I am currently studying accounting at D.U.T
How did you fall in love with music?
When I was younger, my brother used come home with a lot of CDs. I would listen to the CD until I memorised each song, word for word. In my home town, there are a lot of producers and I used to hang around with them.
When did you start producing music? And how would you describe your style?
I started producing music way back in 2014. I would describe my style as dark and trappy, and sometimes RnB-ish.
What inspires the music you make?
Music/producing takes me places where I can be myself. To inspire the upcoming youth.
What was your first thought when you received the call from Rémy Martin, letting you know that you were through to the regional finals?
At first I didn’t believe it when I got the call. In fact, I am still in shock that I am one of the top 5 finalist.
How does it feel to have the opportunity to work with Riky Rick?
Riky Rick has always been one of my favourite artists so working with him has been a dream come true.
How do you feel about performing on 10th of August in front of a live audience?
To be honest, I am kind of nervous but nerves are always there to keep you intact. People should expect a lot of energy and a new sound that will take them to a hidden world
The next week is going to be a big one for you, what are you looking forward to most?
What I am looking forward to the most is the studio session with Master A Flat and the event day.
