What is your name, age and where are you from?
Phemelo Phalane. I am from Polokwane but currently stay In JHB.
What are you doing currently?
I am studying Biological Science at Wits.
How did you fall in love with music?
I fell In love with music from downloading and listening to music, the more I listened to the music the more I loved it.
When did you start producing music? And how would you describe your style?
I started producing in 2018 and just went with the flow, I would not say I have a style – I just make what I am feeling – I go with the moment.
What was your first thought when you received the call from Rémy Martin, letting you know that you were through to the regional finals?
I honestly thought I was being punked – I could not believe what I was hearing.
How does it feel to have the opportunity to work with Riky Rick?
Word can’t describe. I just feel blessed…very blessed.
How do you feel about performing on 26th of July in front of a live audience? And what can people look forward from you on the night?
I am feeling kind of nervous, but I am going to approach this situation like any time I make beats. They can expect a great performance.
The next week is going to be a big one for you, what are you looking forward to most?
Just meeting new people and getting advice and guidance from one of the greatest in the industry.
